CLUSIER

Clusier is a high-end men's boutique in Old Montreal. The boutique moved to its current address 10 years ago, and the design needed a serious overhaul. At the same time, the brand was changing its branding and rethinking the customer experience. Our design had to enhance this new experience.

Our challenge came in assessing the space, which is longitudinal and very narrow; a new section was also added at the back of the store, giving an even longer space. We had to redefine the zones to accommodate the different collections, in addition to creating a VIP area for the made-to-measure section.

We designed a specific sequence from the moment you enter the store: all-go collections and footwear at the front, business collections next, and the made-to-measure section at the back. As we move through the store, materials and colors become richer and warmer. A grand copper wall welcomes customers into the space and is the perfect backdrop for presenting new collections. Several workstations are distributed throughout the space to ensure fast, personalized service. Terrazzo, wood herringbone, quartz, copper and velvet were used to ensure that products would be showcased to their best advantage, as well as supporting the boutique's modern yet classic design.
